I’m excited to support the project outlined below. With a strong passion for local community engagement and nature-based initiatives, I am excited to get started. Partnerships both onsite and beyond will be developed as part of the Next Steps Project, along with exploring governance options for the Mill Waters sites.  
 
Mill Waters is a beautiful green and blue public space where visitors can connect with nature and discover medieval, industrial, and social heritage, all within the urban surroundings of Ashfield and Mansfield in North Nottinghamshire. It links The Lawn, Kings Mill Reservoir, and Hermitage Ponds.  Learn more about Mill Waters here

The Mill Waters Next Steps Project has received £258,498 for a two-year program to build on the success of the first project, guiding Mill Waters through a period of growth, enhancing existing engagement, and creating new opportunities for heritage and nature activities for people of all ages and abilities.
